  1. Evening all, I have an Invidia Q300 catback stainless exhaust that I don't want. It was only on the car for about 600 miles. Came all the way from the States on special order for £965. It's as new and I'm asking £780 for it. If you are interested, then I would recommend buying stronger rubber mounts - I re-used the original ones and they sagged after a few days. Otherwise really easy to fit. I'm selling because I want a slightly quieter exhaust. This one is pretty good (I bought it because it was supposed to be the most quiet) but it's not to my taste. I basically want standard factory noise, just with better flow (probably not possible!) So I'm going to get a custom made one built. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v81/huw_jones/IMG_1883n_zpsyum4e6m3.jpg
  2. All the way to Sandbach to get my geometry done, only to hit a !Removed! great big rock on the way home. Unbelievable.
  3. I find that anyone who starts going on about 'industry marketing BS' hasn't tried the tyres, or hasn't tried them under the correct conditions. My POS van wouldn't get to half of the places it does with factory tyres on.
  4. I use all seasons permanently on my works van. As you said yourself, they are a jack of all trades master of none. They are a good improvement over summers on mud or snow, but they'll only help so much. I've still managed to get the van stuck in places I didn't expect (that's when the snow chains come out). I often have to get my !Removed! heavy transit connect up gravel tracks, fields and generally poor roads. If I still had summers on, I would be walking a lot more. If you're not doing much 'off roading' then I would recommend you stick to summers and just take extra care in the 1.5 days of snow we get. I bought a full set for my STi this year and I've hardly used them at all.
  5. It's track work that's shown up the weakness, so I want to try a different setup. Booked in with CPP (Sandbach). I remembered them from my Evo days so I'm going there on Tuesday.
  6. I need to try and dial out some understeer from my car. I'm looking for recommendations for specialist tuners in the North West area who are used to setting up Subarus. Can anyone suggest any? Scoobyclinic would seem to be a half decent place to start but I can't find any recent recommendations on them. Demon Tweeks are pretty good with my Peugeot but I need someone who is used to Subaru adjustments.
  7. Wasn't really planning to spend that much, plus I wouldn't want the tyres. Thanks for the offer anyway.
  8. I bought a set of Team Dynamics wheels from Demon Tweeks in the end. I was in a bit of a rush due to an upcoming trackday. I don't 'really' require wheels now, but after a google search these OZ HLT's look nice. What tyres are on them and what's your asking price?
  9. Not sure how many of you are aware, but the 2015's have TPMS (tyre pressure monitor system) on the wheels. This is a sensor that's on the back of the inflation valve. When you take the car in for tyre swaps make the fitters aware of this because they can smash the sensors if they break the bead in the wrong place. Also, if you are planning to keep your original wheels then you may need to buy a second set of sensors. They cost £130 from Subaru but a decent tyre shop should be able to get them for about £75. I'm told that the TPMS 'self learns' any new sensors or wheel swaps (i.e. front to back). I'm yet to verify this but I may test this when I put my winters back on this weekend.
  10. Yup, I'd love to know this too. Can't find the settings anywhere!
  11. I haven't got round to buying a Gopro I'm afraid! There might be some pictures available but no guarantees!
  12. Anyone else attending the MSV track day on Saturday at Oulton? I'm all booked up including garage (it's a bit nippy without one!). Oil changed today, got the new wheels yesterday. Just need to get my tyres mounted onto them and then I'm ready.
  13. Heh, it wasn't Friday the 13th when it happened was it? Sounds like you should have stayed at home that day!
  14. I've fitted winter tyres onto my original 2015 wheels and I'm looking for a second set to mount the original tyres on. Don't want to destroy my winters at Oulton Park on the 24th! The original wheels are 18 x 8.5, 5 x 114.3, ET 55 with a centre bore of 56.1mm. If anyone has a nice set of wheels going spare please get in touch. :)
