  8. 9. all codes are fine just can't get the CO down enough l for long enough for it to pass san
  10. was talking about problems with mine and if i remember correctly the symptoms could be MAP sensor there is a subaru specialist on hawthorn avenue in hull near the rock city climbing center (next to the railway crossing) the guy there seems to be quite friendly and i'm sure he would be able to dort your problem out san
  11. a quick catchup as the rest of the thread has gone awol..... spent the morning checking, tightening cleaning etc... took it for a razz and a recheck but cannot get the O2 readings down or to stay constant and as i can't find any air leaks the only other things it could be is either coolant temp sensor or cat san
  12. finally found the section on knock sensor in the workshop manual, got out my trusty multimeter and did a resistance test on the sensor and it failed (open circuit) so looks like it a new one from import car parts :D san
  13. Finally got a chance to have another look at the codes and disconnecting the battery for a while does seem to clear the codes this time only one 22 - knock sensor so now I need to find out if it's the sensor or a symptom of something else although having googled symptoms it would explain a few things anyone have access to autodata and be able to find the resistance for the sensor? san
