  1. Had a voltage check and there's nothing coming from the alternator. I have an earthing problem as well that's being looked in to. Does anyone now of any earthing kits available and where from? Going to Euros tomorrow to sort it as it's less than a year old. Was brand new and the only one they had for a BH5. Though did have to take it back when I first got it as they gave me a dud one. Belts are fine. Tonight belt will be changed in the next few months as it's due.
  2. Has anyone had alternator issues? Mine was changed late last year and has died again. Could possibly be a fault? Was the only one Euro car parts had for a BH5. Anyone know where to get a decent replacement?
  3. Import airports.co.uk have the OEM exedy clutch. If you want a stage one racing exedy or above then get the codes from Exedy and google it. I was trying to find the website I got mine from but all details seem to have disappeared from my emails.
  4. Hi thanks for that. I've managed to get the OBD code read. It comes up as: P1141 mass or volume airflow circuit range/performance problem low Has anyone had this issue before? I've changed the The air flow sensor meter. The light stayed on for a couple of days then went out and I could boost properly so am thinking its a wiring issue maybe?
  5. Hi I have the horrid won't Rev over 4500, check engine light is on and won't go into secondary turbo (it is however spooling). Vacuum pipes have been checked and they're OK. Did a pressure/vacuum check on the actuator and there was nothing, took it off, manipulated it and got a reading, put it back on, got a reading. Put everything back together started and it was fine. Went for a drive, boosting perfectly and about 30 mins in the check engine light came on and the same problem occurred. So I presume it's the actuator. Can they be fixed? If not can anyone point me in the right direction of a replacement (OEM or otherwise) as I've googled and nothing has come up. I know Mamba do an adjustable one but would this be suitable for the secondary turbo and if so which one? Oh and does anyone have any tips/knowledge on ready he fault codes as it doesn't like what I've plugged in (RAC diagnostic laptop thing) Thanks in advance
  6. Thank you! I've googled stuff about my car so many times and have read posts but I didn't think to join
  7. Hi! I'm Vicki, I'm from Romford, Essex. Thought I'd better join up. Met a lovely guy called Geoff (Geoff Leggy) today and Japfest Rock with another BH5 Legacy who spoke about this forum. I have a 1999 Legacy GT-B (BH5) import which I love. Had her for 2.5 years now. Has some issues (appeared red recently) namely the dredded not revving over 4500 but as its already been brought up I'm going to check the hoses and fingers crossed it gets sorted. Then I can get her remapped to sort out some bugs. Haven't done much, exedy stage 1 clutch and push her over the 300hp mark, up-graded belts (cam belt next), a couple of guages, upgraded fuel pump, primary decat with custom exhaust, STI genome strut bar and I'm in the process of colour matching and RFRB front grill, front splitter and a spoiler (going BGW to make a change) because of course it's not the original Subaru colour it's Izuzu white lol. Oh and I'm in the process of changing the decals but there is an issue with paintwork and the car deciding it doesn't like it. Lots of TLC needed. So Hi everyone!
