  1. Ok cool although Sheffield is quite a long way for me.
  2. Damn!! just had this back from Remus: Does anyone know of anywhere that may still stock it or have any alternative suggestions?
  3. Thanks for that :) although I don't think that would fit mine as its twin. This is the one i'm after: https://youtu.be/F0XvMwI5rTU
  4. I asked back along for some opinions on an Impreza Diesel as some of you are aware I went ahead and took the plunge, it was a very difficult task to get hold of the car because the first time I bought it the company went under, I then found it at auction and won it but the day of delivery the truck it was on broke down but I eventually got it! I must say I absolutely love it to own a Subaru again is just awesome and to have economy to go with it is even better I honestly think I may keep this car until it dies! Anyway I saw a few videos of the Remus exhaust on the diesel and it sounded pretty sweet, I know it will never sound like a WRX but to have some sort of grumble would be nice, does anyone know where i can get this exhaust from? if you have a link that would be great I have done a few searches but not had much luck.
  5. Just found it come up at an auction tomorrow, shame its a 4 hour drive away! Anyone fancy popping along and bidding for me
  6. It came with a 6 month nationwide warranty so i was told.
  7. Luckily I only gave them £100 deposit, but whats really annoyed me is if they had been there like they should of been on Sunday I'd actually have the car now!!
  8. Seriously P@$*ed off!! So I was supposed to pick the car up last Sunday but the guy i was dealing with was at a wedding and the others where with family due to a family death so weren't opening up the showroom, so we arranged that they would bring the car to me tomorrow, All was going lovely and got a text to say the car would be here between 12-1pm Perfect! 16:00 today i get a call to say sorry but you won't be having the car anymore because without warning at 8:30 this morning cars where being removed from the forecourt due to the company going into liquidation and there was nothing they could do about it. Gutted is an understatement, right now i just want to smash something!
  9. I'd interested to know this as they offer the service literally just down the road. Charges £132
  10. That does sound like a bad Subaru experience! My Turbo went on my Bug which was a shock to the system didn't enjoy that bill!!
  11. Yeah i think its a case of taking a risk which i'm probably going to do to be honest and I personally think every second hand car is a risk, my mate bought a focus for £800 thinking he just had a reliable runabout 2 months later cost him close to 1k in repairs! I've had a 2004 BMW X5 3.0D for 3 years only thing thats ever gone wrong is the door handle failed, I also had a brief ownership of a Audi TT amazing condition 2 days later the alternator failed so i guess in swings in roundabouts. I do agree though that its either going to go smoothly or i'll be back here waiting for the "we told you so"
  12. WOW, You read my mind, you sir are a genius! But in all seriousness i'm kinda of hoping for a few positives as well as the negatives because lets be honest there are likes and dislikes and personal opinions on literally everything. One guy could tell me they are the bomb the other could tell me it's a risk and so far i'm getting the latter which is fine but i'd like to know if there are a few positives.
  13. Yeah all this is great love hearing peoples opinions, but the only way I can get the wife to agree to a Subaru is either a non turbo RX which I test drove and didn't like or a diesel with the 50mpg and cheap tax. And if i'm honest the boxer diesel excites me
