As stated previously, it is a common occurance for the 2.5 to suffer head gasket issues and also ringland failure. the only real way to future proof is to have the deck converted to closed deck, over size the block .25 and fit forged pistons, uprated head studs and uprated head gaskets. All builds we do are fully stripped down, not partially as suggested.
