  1. Hi 👋 is anyone breaking any gc8's in need of the trim that goes round windscreen, over roof and down back window. Would also need the window trim that goes across the top of the windscreen and back window. Also while on this thread. Does anyone have CD block? Cheers
  2. Sounds odd haha the alarm module may have been fitted behind the tray as there is normally fair bit of room there to fit alarm box. What alarm have you got?
  3. Haha I went the same route, definitely not even close. The wife got me this one. Woke me up early on Sunday and said we are off to look at a scoob.... haven't got out of bed that fast for a long time 😂 The syvecs does look good on the specs and reviews.
  4. Nice. Cheers for the advice. It would mainly be road use with rare track day. What management you running with that set up? This is now the 9th scoob and the wife has told me not to get rid of it 😂 So planning out routes to take with regards engine. As the last one was running 390bhp and owner before had spent a lot on it. That was in the 2.0 block.
  5. Road and occasional track use. Would want to be in the 3-400bhp area. Engineer by trade so be self build other than owing few beers for the machining
  6. Hi guys. New to forum. Interested in people's opinion / set up. Looking at doing an engine build for the classic. What are your views on open, semi closed, closed block and recommendations for brands for crank, rods and crowns. Ta
