  1. Hi guys. Newish to the scoob world. Had my bugeye now almost a year. Basically factory spec apart from a few prodrive pieces (exhaust & engine trim) always been a fan of keeping my cars original but have been considering a re map. Not interested in crazy engine power increases. 10 or 20 bhp increase and a few more mpg and il be happy enough 😂 heard a few horror stories about mapping gone wrong. Don't wana go down the road of having to replace parts here and there down the line due to a pointless re map. Any advice or thoughts would help alot! Cheers 👍👍
  2. welcome and good luck. As far as a driver's car an Impreza is hard to beat. They are quite thirsty. But who doesn't love a drink 🙈 Full service history when buying is a must for me personally. An unabused example is ideal
  3. I agree mate. Chinless 😂 always installed a splitter on my previous cars and has always been worthwhile for look. My bugeye has standard suspension in it too so wouldn't have to worry about hitting off too many things etc. As far as the sti lights go a decent set is anywhere upwards of £300 and they can be a pain to fit. I'll see what happens 😂
  4. Hi all. Been a while since iv been on here. My last post was a year ago in the intro asking if i should buy a scoob 🙈🤣 i did and its been unreal 👍 anyways.. I want to mean up the look of my front end. Mulling over new headlights (the sti black kind ones) and a front splitter. Any views on wither or not their a good idea? Cheers guys 👍
  5. hi, new to the forum have a viewing to buy an 02 wrx next week. very tidy looking car, FSh, 90,000 miles, navy. just looking for some general dos and don'ts when buying a subaru as iv never owned one before.. or anything to look out for apart from the obvious. have my mind set on one completely standard, and with a FSH is a must. thanks :)
  6. hi guys, cool forum from belfast in NI, very new to the forum scene currently not driving a subaru :( but have a viewing with one next week. nervous and excited. i have viewed a few and they were all absolute scrap lol. more hopeful about this one next week. its a WRX 2002. Navy. FSH. all the mod cons but completely standard aswell, which is what i want. have been a massive subaru fan for years so the time has come to say, f**k it, and get myself one any tips or hints on what to look out for when buying would be helpful. Cheers :)
