  1. Thanks Geoff, I'll get it up and have a look.
  2. Hi, I'm new to Subaru and new to the forum. I've just bought my first Legacy (Estate 2.0 R Sports Tourer with twin exhaust). It's the best driving car I've ever owned and i'm really pleased with it. However, theres one small, niggling issue. When i pull away and accelerate and get to 2500rpm i get a rasping reverberation sound from the exhaust, then it disappears, then it comes back at 3000rpm then goes again as the revs increase. At first I thought it was loose heat shields, but they all seem to be secure. After reading some other post on here, i'm wondering if it could be the Y-section where the exhaust splits. What's strange is the car only seems to do it when the car is in gear. Sitting in neutral and increasing the revs to 2500/300rpm sounds fine! Anyone got any ideas what it could be and how to get rid of it? Cheers, - Mick
