Quick brake query

Hi, just put new disks and pads all round on my STI. I just took it round the block and they are currently catching and preventing the car from free rolling. They are not super tight and the car is driveable but you can hear the pads rubbing and like I say it doesn't roll as freely as it did before I changed them.

Just wondering if this is common and will sort them selves out or is something wrong?

Did you push the caliper pistons right back when fitting the new pads and discs ?

As if the old discs and pads were well worn the pistons might have not returned all the way back , causing them to "nip" the discs a bit .

Could try removing the pads and see if all the pistons are moving freely and returning all the way into the calipers

I did push the pistons what I thought was all the way back.
If I took the pads out and pressed the brake pedal the pistons should come out and return all the way in or is that not the case?
When I put them in they were very snug but I just thought the calliper would adjust when I started using the brakes.
I will take the front pads out again and try and push calliper back in. What's the best way to do this? I have only got the basic tools nothing specialist lol.
