stewart45 Posted September 13, 2017 Share Posted September 13, 2017 having a bit of an issue with my new XV 2.0i Premium with regards Battery life, unfortunately had to leave car unused for 3 weeks came back to find Battery down to 25% charge and unable to start, charged it up enough to start and then had a couple of long runs of 40 and 60 miles this only charged to about 65% would have thought that would have been enough to get a 100% charge, have since fitted a CTEK Battery monitor which showed a 6% drop overnight, is there anything that can be switched off to help extend Battery charge, too much electronics on these cars or need a larger capacity battery Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
stants Posted September 13, 2017 Share Posted September 13, 2017 Most people run with the side lights on as the alternator is a 'smart' type just helps top the Battery up. do the new cars have eyesight and all the new fancy gubbins ?
