I don't see a problem with loud exhaust aslong not being a !Removed! thrashing it down the roads everytime you leave the house.

If I hear a loud car in my street I general look out the window to find out if I guessed correctly. I have more a problem with the f***ing barking dog next door, all bl**dy day long.

Think they should concentrate on dangerous drivers tbh and by that, I don't just mean kids hooning around .

It's the ones who are oblivious to their surroundings,  pulling out on people at junctions, not speeding up on slip lanes to match the speed of traffic flow ,changing lanes without indicating and fooking about with their phones behind the wheel .

There's quite a few motorbikes with  much louder exhausts than the cars round here , too .

TBH i think they should look at the guys driving around in the sh***y diesel without a DPF in it and all you can see is black smoke and the whole of the car covered in soot at the back

I do believe WRC cars have to abide by road laws, what with them been road legal to drive between stages etc, so I'll be interested to see how this pans out.

Just a quick one on DPF's, it's not the removal that's causing the black smoke, it's the smokey map been put on that causes that. I have a few friends (Honestly, I do have friends) that have de-dpf'ed cars and are not smokey at all

i only say that because i know a couple of people that have removed the DPF and have that issue but yes it is probably the maping too surely they should tackle these issues instead of noise cameras i'm just glad my back box is resonated instead of a straight through pipe

I went to see the WRC in Wales last year and i was shocked how quiet they were. I could hear the tyres on the gravel in the slower stuff. Amazingly fast though. Stones were flying every were when the WRC cars went by. Lots of Scoobies in the lower classes.  Other then the Mk1 & 2 escorts must of been the most common car.

I believe your right they have to run cats for the emissions. Good damn health and safety and global warming.

I live in the town center and those Toyota Prius taxis sneak up on you if your not careful. The driver of these silent assassin cars should be more aware as they cannot assert their presence like a Scooby, or a V8. As you say Loud pipes save lives.
