Hey guys, 3 of our engine lights came on on our Outback Diesel so I hooked her up to the OBD2 reader. the following codes popped up P0409: exhaust gas recirculation position sensor performance P0403: exhaust gas recirculation circuit. I believe i need to replace my exhaust manifold/02 sensors. Anyone had this problem before? Any help or info would be a great help. Thanks a lot, JM
Hi. Could you help me identifying correct o2 sensor. I've got PO138 foult code on my diagnostic tool saying "o2 sensor circuit high voltage bank 1 sensor 2" . Is that the one on the picture? Will replacing that lambda sensor solve the problem. Thanks for your help.
I've done the OBD Torque check and shows me only 1 issue ,is : MID:$0f TID:$dd - O2 Bank 4 Sensor 3 Min: 4,184 Max: 16,224 Test result value: 20,488 FAIL Does that means something or its just an error in the OBDll scanner (shows error coz sensor doesn't exist) ??????? P.S.: no error codes, no engine red lamp, etc. Thanks!
Hi. I'd welcome some advice for my 2001 H6 Outback. Not long after I bought it I noticed an intermittent problem with the Check engine light coming on (at same time as VDC Off light being illuminated). A quick check with Torque confirmed the error code as P0031 Bank 1 Sensor 1 which i took to be the offside front Sensor (UK). Deleting the code made it go away for a couple of weeks but on hot starting occasionally back it came. So I replaced the sensor last week and cleared the codes. Everything went well for a couple of days. Today the error code came back. Same error code but the description was slightly different "HO2S Heater Control circuit low (Bank 1 Sensor 1)" Is this likely on a brand new sensor or could it point to a duff connector or something else duff with wiring between the sensor and the ECU?If the latter how would I go about checking.; Any advice gratefully recd.
