I have owned a Fiat Coupe, Honda S2000, Civic Type R and Nissan Skyline in the past so have a decent idea about performance cars. Whats the main differences between the sport cross and STI, I've heard the 2.5 engines can be a pain in terms of piston wear and tear. What should I be looking for when I test drive and inspect I've been told cam belts should be done by 55k miles. These cars are now 12-15 years old are they reliable enough for a daily commute of 20-30 miles or are we starting to see many age related problems?
