  5. Thanks again Mr B for your help all the parts are ordered now all I need now is a set of strut mounts (tops) 20370FE100 or 20390FE000 do they come in sets of 2 or are they sold individuality ?
  6. Thankyou very much Mr B for your time and information you have put my mind at ease I will have a look at the links you have gave me and buy replacement springs. I do carry a fair weight loaded in the rear with camping and fishing gear so will have the thicker coils . I kept looking at the rear of Foz and noticed one side was lower so I had a couple of third party opinions all agreed one of the shocks is on its way out
  7. I have just received a set of rear shocks for my 04 2.L Na X but just hope the they are right I have a uncertain feeling things are not but what I got are a set of Ashika MA 70014 OE20360SA000 and Ashika MA 70013 OE 2036010 I did a lot of checks but so unsure as when I did a lookup it for my model it came out with 20360SA020 which are unavailable
  8. Oh dear ! I,ve sent you a PM Mr B

  11. Failed MOT with broken front coil spring I was asked to get a set of front springs for my 05 2L N/A Auto and was given the oem number 20330SA180 but cannot find any parts with that number the only ones I can find are OE-20330SA150 which seem to be compatible so just wondering if they will be ok ?
  12. I have been looking at these http://www.titancovers.co.uk/
  13. OK thanks I will do
  14. No just a normal 2L
  15. I have had my Fozzie for few weeks now just did short trips to work and local trips but yesterday had my first proper motorway run everything was sweet and she ran no problem I arrived at my destination parked up for a hour but when I fired up for the return journey I noticed a orange engine symbol lit a little bit of panic set in but I carried on with the journey everything sounded good no loss of power or oil leaks and drove fine > After a little research I checked the fuel cap and disconnected the battery for a hour and the light has gone off now . But I did get petrol on my way from a different garage I usually use BP but filled up with Shell yesterday so I am right in thinking that Foresters can be temperamental over what fuel they like ?
  16. Cheers David I know Paul personally I didnt realise he was still working but on another note I was looking through the receipts which came with the Fossie I have just bought and noticed that Carlton Garage replaced the cam belt two years ago and not a bad price considering
  17. Who is the local garage David ? when the head gasket blew on my Leggy they all went shy when I mention it was a Subaru the nearest I found was in Blackpool
  18. Hi guys after my 22 year old Leggy which I have had for last 14 years died on the motorway last month (she a blew the head gasket) I was in the hunt for another vehicle and ended up of a wish list of four to look at and decide, which was another Legacy , Honda CRV , Honda Accord estate and a Skoda Octavia 4X4 estate . I needed something with plenty of space to accommodate my fishing and camping gear I was making arrangements to view the Leggy when on the off chance I checked my emails when I saw a alert from a motor sales site showing a new addition in my saved search which caught my attention I arranged to view the following day I had a good look around it for 30 minutes wasnt sure at first then the dealer gave me the keys I saw the engine and had a test drive and a hour later I was a owner of a Fozzie
