  1. Morning all. Just in need of finding out if my 55 plate xt uses the male or female drive shaft please. Many thanks
  2. Morning all, just after finding out if my 55 plate xt uses the male or female drive shaft. Many thanks
  3. It's pretty much a constant thing now, even on newly surfaced roads. The guy I swapped my impreza wagon for this had changed all drop links, all bushes seem legit, so the coilovers have to be the problem. I think stock, then hunt down some rims bigger than my 17"
  4. Haha I have had the car a couple of weeks and you have literally just described the daily missions I have to undertake. There's a 3" step into my little court, that's a twice daily task trying not to bottom out. Raised the front an inch last weekend and sorted it. But knocking on all four corners is really annoying me. As we have recently had a little monster, who isn't cheap to keep apparently, looks like stock is the only option I have 😞
  5. Ahhhh thanks Mr B I was just trawling the net trying to learn a little bit with this being my 4th Scooby, but first forester. You just explained that in the simplest way that wasn't confusing at all compared to what I was just trying to read haha. Much appreciated, looks like I'm off back to stock then ☹️ Also, I presume fg suspension wouldn't fit a sg?
  6. Morning all, just wanted to pickle your brains. So I hear on the grapevine (Hull scoobys) that impreza suspension will fit my hearse. I've asked numerous groups and forums this question but no reply and I notice that this forum aren't very quick with replies but I'll try anyway... So impreza suspension is possible for a swap, but am I able to swap impreza springs onto forester shocks? Cheers in advance Shaun
  7. Morning all. New owner of a 55 plate forester XT turbo, did a straight Swap with my 03 wrx wagon. In just the few days of driving the big bus, I can say I'm more than happy I chose to accept swap, had a couple of mods previously, nothing too stupid: tints all round, new larger back box, coilovers dropping the front lower than your grannies t!ts. Looks great at the current stance, but a pain in the exhaust pipe getting over the hump at the entrance of the court I live in, its only about 4 inches high. The other quite worrying issue is the rear N/S COILOVER has previously leaked and its banging, shaking and rattling. Just recently becoming a dad for the first time at my ripe old age of 39, only my measly excuse of a wage, buying a new set isn't going to happen any time soon. The guy did give me the stock set, but I really don't want to use it. So currently scouring the t'interweb for a single one or a set that might have one or two buggered ones but has the one I need in good order, after finding out I could use impreza ones too I thought great, opens the options up more.... Nope also no help. Apart from that and the fact the exhaust being waaaay too quiet that the neighbours have not complained because all the cats are still present, I'd say needing more room than my wrx, I definitely made a good choice. Here is the hearse
