  1. Yeah that was what i was thinking/hoping. but also if rear alignment is out a wee bit could add to that sensation i suppose. I might take it to my local tyre place to see what they say. Was hoping other xv owners had similair issues. Thanks for reply though👍
  2. Hi, new to this (and any) forum!. So please be gentle! I have a 2015 XV (for 3 years now) and really love it. But I have a wee query for any fellow XV owners or Subaru AWD experts in general! Just had the original geolander tyres (30k) replaced with GT altimax sports. Since then I’ve noticed a “squirming” like the back end jumps out a bit when going over manholes or slightly roughened tarmac (feels worse when wheels turn right and is worse at relatively slower speed 30/40mph and was worse when car was fully loaded with passengers) No obvious shock/ spring problems and car doesn’t “pull” indicating normal alignment symptoms. my wife reckons it has always done this back end squirm (to a lesser extent) since we bought it 3 year ago. could it simply be an alignment issue with the car being AWD and the new tyres are highlighting it or something more sinister?? Any input appreciated. Would be good to know somewhere to start before throwing money at it! cheers.
