Hi there I bought this car 3 yrs ago purely on it's looks condition etc. When car enthusiasts saw it they commented. Oh you've got a Petter Solberg wr1 very nice. This was new to me and I went with the flow. But by chance last week I found out it is not a wr1. But a wrx sti. UK type imported from malta. OK that's fine. Now I have been told that there were only 500 prodrive wr1 in the UK so why is mine the same engine. g.box transmission. dccd and colour as the wr1 if there were only 500 made. This vehicle has not been resprayed it came out of the factory in Japan with this colour and spec can any one enlighten me as to what I've actually got please 😀

Hi there. I bought a Impreza wrx sti wr1 3yrs ago. There are a few things I'm finding out that makes me think it’s a lookalike, not the real deal. Like no plate just below the cigarette lighter saying WR1 2003 winners Petter Solberg and his signature on the plate. Also no Wr1 gear knob and no WR1 tax disc holder. Can someone please tell me how to check this out. Thanks stewart

hi there all scooby owners, i recently bought a petter solberg version 2004 model, so far, so good, i would like to put a bit of bling under the bonnet with coloured silicone hose pipes, where`s the best place to buy from, i did try ebay but they were all the same size pipe, lol got me there! so the shapes must be correct and the internal size should be true, cheers slider.
