  1. Just to add, it's a SG facelift model...
  2. I do love that the new fozzies aren't a scratch on the old ones. Maybe I'm biased owning an 06 XT (which I guess is newer than some) but i like the feeling that there is a cosy cult following out there...(rightly or wrongly)
  3. So back to your suggestion before, probably best to find a replacement seat if I want to fix it? I mean it doesn't actually bother me all that much, I'm quite warm blooded anyway and prefer the car cool... but just good to know..
  4. Hi Dazzer, I've got a 55reg Forester, but it's the facelift model, so am I right to assume 2007 shape? Bet they're pricey to come by!
  5. Kind of following on from this with my own related problem, my passenger seat is ideal and turns to lava when required, the drivers seat is very subtle by comparison...anyone have any thoughts?
  6. Thanks buddy, I'm going to contact the 'dealer' today and see what he proposes based on the above options... if he puts up resistance about me getting it blanked, I might just wait until the warranty is up, then get it blanked myself. £144 in one hit if it comes out of my pocket is probably better than £100 odd in fuel only to have it replaced and no doubt fail further down the line costing me £144 at a later date anyway....
  7. Hey guys, took it into engine tuner in Plymouth area. Guy said it's the secondary air pump, cost to replace the actual part with genuine Subaru is like £500+, but they can remove and delete from ecu for 120+vat. Either way I won't be paying for it, but what would you guys do? Obviously I have to weigh up time plus 400miles drive + fuel + the hope the dealer does a good job and doesn't just bodge a fix vs a seemingly reputable shop that can stop it from ever happening again.. Any advice would be great.
  8. Hi guys, New owner here, 55reg Forester 2.5, just wondering if anyone knows an independent in the Plymouth area? I've got a few issues that need sorting, I've googled and come across Alan Jeffries at engine tuner(?), at the moment I'm not looking to do any mods (money is a bit tight now!) So need to just repair a few bits at this stage. Thanks Ian
