  1. Just gone out again on the last trip so I've ordered a replacement sensor.....
  2. It's the oil level light and it's just happened again. Reverse car up ramp out of garage and park on the drive, where there is a slight lean to the right. Drive away no problem. BUT shut the engine down, clean the car and start up again, oil level light on. Dipstick shows around three quarters full or slightly more.
  3. That would make sense I suspect I'll investigate further.....thanks!
  4. Twice now the light has come on after reversing the car out of the garage and shutting down then restarting. Last time it went off after a few miles and a few starts, but it's very frustrating. The oil level is about 2/3rds the way up the dipstick and it's a 3.6 engine. Any thoughts on why it might happen?
  5. Has anyone experienced having the brakes judder viciously after having washed the wheels with a hose pipe and sponge??? It went away after a while but it was very disconcerting
  6. Many years agoI used to find a pair of spheres with holes in on each side of the car which I adjusted with a pin. I haven't needed to look for years, but my 2010 outback isn't quite as I'd like and appears to have two slightly different sized slots one above the other on each side. Does anyone know how these are tweaked?
  7. Tetbury Motor Centre and would you believe I drove there with the light on right the way to switch off in their car park. They started it up and the light was out and checks showed no faults. I'm now wondering if there's some timer or something that turns it off after a period of running. At the moment the issue has gone away.
  8. Thanks I'm going this afternoon but I was wondering if I'd missed something obvious!
  9. I used to do the swap annually on my Outback, but now I use Michelin Cross Climate, fully legal in the Swiss Alps all the year round.
  10. My recently acquired 2010 3.6 Outback has had its oil level warning light come on. The oil level is fine on the dipstick, so what do I do just take it to a specialist???
  11. I am going to replace my 10 year old bulbs as they are getting a bit dull. Does anyone know the OEM supplier for a 2010 outback??

My 2010 Outback has developed a severe rattle that seems to the associated with the exhaust heatshield there are no exhausts available at the moment does anyone know a source or can recommend a fix. Local garage has tack welded and that has reduced noise but it is still there. Any help greatly appreciated
