  1. ideally i would like to keep the car but if its going to cost too much i may just end up selling it. i have my dads garage where i can work on it but would prefer to have it done properly by a specialist.. if anyone knows someone near london mabye i can get a quote from them
  2. Hey guys So i bought a 2007 Subaru impreza wrx 2.5 hatchback from an auction with no key. i got the key sorted and when i started it i heard a knocking from the engine and it was smokey. there was no misfiring from the engine just knocking. i have a feeling it is from the crank but not 100% sure. Has anyone had this issue before? Im wondering what is the best solution for this? change the engine or get it rebuilt? any suggestions?
  3. Hey Guys thanks for your help one of the wires to the fuel pump was a bit loose and wasnt sending any electricity to the pump but its all sorted now :D
  4. Hey guys So i replaced my fuel pump because there was a problem with it and when i was driving the car normally it was fine. when i put my foot down the car would jerk as it it had run cut the fuel supply sometimes it would kick back in and be ok but other times the engine would cut and refuse to start for a few mins. then after a while the fuel pump stopped whining when i put the ignition on so i changed the fuel pump thinking it had gone again but the car still doesn't want to start and the fuel pump doesn't make a sound... any ideas.... Thanks
