Yea i have read somewhere that you need to be careful when removing the last bolt as its spring loaded. I didnt realise there was a difference and that some dont have them. Either way im prob not the best person to pull one apart lol. No i havent looked at other potential issues that could be causing it to happen. I might get it checked over by a garage, when i was driving it yesterday the sound of the turbo completely changed, was really weird, it sounded like i had a really big uprated turbo if that makes sense, like when a supra has a big single turbo. Sounded really nice actually lol but a concern that its never sounded like that before!

Well i have missed out on this one i was asking about as i got outbid, it was a Blitz Nur Spec, went for £225! I do currently have a full decat system, not sure on the brand of my current backbox as its not marked but im not too keen on the look of mine either. No i dont think it has stainless headers, and not sure about the downpipe & up pipe, i just know its a full decat. Thanks Clinton

Brilliant thanks, i have just taken it off as per your directions and given it a spray. I will find out 2mw if its made much difference! I was scared not to overspray, i hope i put enough in, & it ran down my hand as i was pressing the piston, is this a bad thing as its come back out? As my scooby is my daily driver, i dont tend to drive it hard & try to avoid boosting much, would this cause the bov to stick due to not being used much or hard? Do i need to thrash my car more lol? Did you have to take the bov valve off and take it apart to lube it up? If so fairly easy for a non mechanically minded individual or potential f**ked bov lol? Def sounds like the same issue, i get that big turbo lag feel aswell, and the bov when it does go off is really delayed. Thanks Clinton

Hi guys, I have a Forge dump valve and it sometimes doesnt 'swoosh' lol cant think of any other way to say it! It seems to not work when accelerating from a high gear, so i would be in 3rd or 4th cruising, then if i accelerate (nothing excessive) but on boost then when i let off it doesnt do anything? Does it sound like its on its way out or quite common? Thanks Clinton

I have not looked into wicked wheels but i have spoken to xpress alloys and he suggested i drop them off to a place near me called maxpowder as they powder coat for only 35 +vat per wheel, xpress alloys said he would charge 65 each wheel and it was him that said he doesnt even paint the back of the alloy as he doesnt take the tyre off. Hence why im now looking at just buying a set. Clinton

I have asked if they will fit and she said no because 53 plate wrx are 5x114 pcd apparently and these alloys are 5x100 pcd, is this correct, are 53 plate wrx 5x114 pcd? Thanks Clinton

I have tried a couple places, seems ok but 1 guy told me he doesnt do the back as they are mobile and dont take the tyre off. So if im going from gold to black, it could look a bit s**t/poorly done. I think this will be the route i will have to take.

Thanks. I was able to buy a cheap set when i got my Type R alloys done and someone lent me some when i got my Supra alloys done but im getting the feeling im going to struggle here :( I would have thought someone would be up for earning a bit of cash for doing nothing ;) Anyone... Clinton

Hi guys, I would really like to get my wheels refurbed so would like to borrow some wheels for a few days whilst there getting done & would like to know if anyone has a spare set (with legal tyre tread) lying around? Im happy to leave a deposit aswell as a fee for borrowing the wheels as i would really appreciate it?
