  1. Last night i opened the key to change the battery but the new battery was the wrong size so i put the old one back in and after that my code that i input into the immobiliser wouldnt work so after messing around for ages i opened ghe key and closed it again and the code started working again lol since that ive been hesitant to touch the battery encase it stops working again.ideally id like to get yhe immobilizer removed.
  2. The guy i bought it from said if i put a new battery in the key it should work and it wound need the code to start anymore but not sure if i trust it.
  3. Hey thanks for yhe reply, the car came with 1 key with 1 lock/unlock button on it but the button doesdnt work lol i need to lock and unlock the car manually.
  4. Ive just bought a 2009 legacy wagon boxer diesel and it has what looks like a non standard immobilizer key pad you have to type a code into everytime i want to start the car do they all have these and is there a way around it?
