  1. I wanted to add to this as I have found the issue so it may help others who have the same problem. I plugged my OBD2 scanner into the car and it had the 0409 code (looks like it has something to do with the EGR valve) anyway after clearing this code the cruise now turns on and works perfectly. It seems they are sensitive to error codes on the ECU but there was no CEL or any other warning lights on the dash. Regards, Jenny
  2. Hi guys, I have a 2009 Outback 2.0D and my cruise isn't working. When I start the car the 'cruise' and 'set' lights flash up and go out as do all the others but when I press the cruise button on the steering wheel it does not light up cruise on the dash. I have looked in the owners manual for maybe a fuse that may be blown but cannot really see anything that would lead me in the right direction. Has anyone else had this problem with a solution? Kind regards, Jenny
