Thank you! So this will work even when the fob won't connect? I could deactivate it by pressing 5 from just putting the key in the ignition?

Oh thank you! And if I tap the pin in will that allow me to start the engine? Do I need to do anything else?

Had this issue a few times, car battery only a few months old, fob battery checked and fine, won't disarm when pressing the key fob. Tried putting the key in the ignition and pressing the fob button, alarm sounds repeatedly.
