  1. I spent about 5 hours cleaning and back to blacking it, it was dirty again within a few hours just from been sat on the drive, I was not impressed

  4. The list is too long what I want to do to this car (as always). although if I'd of known what a pain black was to keep clean I would of gone for another colour.
  5. Oh I can see it now, was at work when I tried looking, systems are a bit outdated. Thats what I need doing to mine, think I will go for the full bonnet, bit more expensive but you cant beat on quality.

  8. I was going to get it mapped anyway, would that work if cleaning doesnt fix it? Yeah thats the problem, really difficult to get hold of one, had to ring main dealers & second hand ones might just be a waste of money, tricky tricky.

The cars started pulling back when i put my foot down, dont really want to fork out £405+vat for a new MAFsensor, does anyone know the best way to clean one of these, will brake cleaner do the job? Ohh and how on earth do you put pictures into your gallery, do they need to be put onto the main one to appear in there?

  14. It depends how much faf times needed, im a bit impatient so I need everything done yesterday. Just dont want to put the time in, end up knackering the bonnet and the scoop cracking in the process..
  15. Its a solid bonnet at the minuite, will it be too much of a faf to adjust the bonnet for the scoop, would I be better off getting the full thing off of a turbo?
  16. Hi all, im a bit new to all this forum stuff but it beats typing questions into google! I have a 55 hawkeye Rsport (only model I can get insured on!) I have just bought an aftermarket bonnet scoop, just wondered if anyone knew how to fit them or the best way forward? Thanks
