    Hello from Cyprus!

    Morning all! I am a Brit living in Cyprus. There are loads of forest trails here with easy access which the Mrs and I want to explore. I have in the past done a lot of offroading some of it crazy stuff, but presently have a Land Cruiser which was lifted etc when I bought it. I am finding passengers really struggle to climb aboard and I am contemplating the purchase of an early Forester just for these tracks and trails. So I joined this forum to do my research and get a feel for what I may need. Thanks for having me.

    Newbie Question - First Gen Info Required

    First post since joining. I do not have a Forester yet. I am looking to buy a first generation forester for soft-roading. Can anyone point me towards pictures and specs for the various models please? One other quick question, am I right in thinking only the manual version had a low range box? TIA
