Thanks guys, at least I know it's worth a look now, I know things can get cat C'd for silly things. My friends Alfa's handbrake cable snapped and it rolled down his driveway and hit the wall across the street and only needed the rear bumper replaced!

I'm looking at buying a Foz XT soon and one has popped up with very low miles, FSH ect. However last May it was a cat C write off and has been repaired, is it safe to buy a damage repaired car especially as I plan to run 300 whp along with a host of other mods. I would get an AA or RAC assessment on it beforehand, but is it even worth considering?

I'm looking at a few Foresters at the moment and one of them costs £1k more but it has the PPP and Prodrive Alloys. I was wondering how good is the kit vs going for a remap and milltek system. I will be doing other mods and supporting mods for an 18g this summer so I just want to know if its worth paying the extra for the prodrive kit?
