Hi Guys, I´m new to the Subaru scene. I´m based in Norway and am about to buy a Outback 2015. However I have suddenly got cold feet. The car in question is for sale by the main dealer, sold by this chain of dealers, has the full history and has had 2 owners aged both in there 70´s. I was all happy and agreed to buy until it came to my attention that their was a discrepancy in the history. On questioning the dealer he admitted it was the fault of the dealership in that when the car was transferred between dealers and sold to its second owner they accidentally neglected a service! So it ran 30000km between services. Other then that all the other services have been carried out at 15000km. The main dealer is saying its clearly their fault, but says he thinks the car is going to be fine and it should not cause a problem. The car is certainly immaculate and drives like new. Total km is 120000km. I have had lots of Toyota´s previously and in there case would not have worried at all, should I be alarmed? Obviously the car has a normal used car warranty but I´m thinking further down the road as I hope to run the car for 5+ years .... I have tried to negotiate a better price but the dealer says he cannot move any further on the price, and tbh I think he is being honest with me. The problem in Norway is there is so few cars for sale there is limited choice....
Thanks in advance for any advice. Regards Jim
