    Diesel horrors? Reliability?

    I got an 63 plate forester it's done nearly 100000 miles and my ideal speed at moment is around 1000 rpm even if I had been driving four an hour But if I turn off the blower switch on the dashboard the ideal speed will drop to around 750 rpm What could be doing this
