So.. 2007 Subaru legacy, take the car to have some under ramp checks done, go to start the car and all of a sudden the immobiliser alarm fob doesn’t want to work at all.. Disconnected battery, hooked up battery charger, call a Subaru specialist and he suggests to pull the radio out and look for some terminal, I’m thinking well it can’t be something new as I turned it off and the car was started and driven into the workshop.. I just think well it started outside let’s push it out just on a wim that there’s something interfering with the signal and low and behold one meter out the workshop the dog starts to work again.. now I’m not sure what type of equipment a tyre specialist can have in a workshop that can interfere with the signal or if it was because the roof was made of metal I will probably never know I’m just glad it started and was able to drive home 8 o’clock at night 😂 so just a word if nothing else works try pushing the car out of the location as even a 5 meter distance can make a difference cheers
