    Secondary air pump

    stcjm posted a topic in Subaru Forester Club
    Hi all, I have a 2006 2.0 non turbo forester that's having constant electrical issues at the moment. It started when the secondary air pump caught fire. We replaced this but the wiring failed and it started smoking again. Have since replaced the alternator but the new auto electrician doesn't want to re-connect the air pump without stock plugs. I have no idea how to find this part - could anyone help me out please? I know that i can just leave the pump disconnected but it seems to be impacting the performance and fuel economy a lot. Thanks.
