  1. Hello Andy, I have an ‘06 (56) Outback 3rN, 114k miles, in very good nick. Colour green/silver trim, all leather inside, aircon, satnav, full length el. sunroof etc etc. I bought it (one-owner) from a Subaru agency in 2011 at 31k miles and since 2012 it has been regularly serviced by a Subie specialist, no expense spared. A BRC Sequent LPG conversion was fitted at 53k, this is the top of the range common-rail type, with the autolube injection. It has always been run on premium petrol (Shell V Power preferred) and on gas the fuel cost works out at the equivalent of 40+ mpg. Last year a stainless cat-back exh. system was fitted. All the regular stuff has been done when needed, brakes, bushes, links etc. It has always run as smooth as silk, and in the 83k miles I’ve driven it - I’m the only driver - it has never let me down. It’s a cracking car, the best of the 25 or so cars I’ve owned. Reason for selling: my trusty LR Defender had to go (rust) and I need a 3.5t tow vehicle for work so now have a Discovery 4 which does everything; very sadly the Subie has to go. It had its annual service and MoT at the end of March. It’s a good one so I’m asking £3500. But come and have a look! If it takes your fancy we can have a useful discussion...... [email protected] (I’m 12 miles north of Hastings, East Sussex) email me and I can send you photos by return. Yrs Nick Horton
  2. I've been ruminating about this for over a year. V-Power's now over £1.50 a litre and it's getting daft, I do about 13k to 15k a year at about 26.5 mpg (real mpg from past 18 months' records, not off the computer which seems a bit optimistic!) Lpg has got to be worth it. Any recommendations out there for a good make and a good installer? I'm not interested in cheap stuff, it's got to work well and be reliable, and above all I don't want to **** up my beautiful Subie. Any info please, your experiences, good, bad, whatever!
