Im thinking of going to roger clarke as thats the closest with a RR to me

a jap car import company said i could have both for £200 its just having the funds free at the time, its a lot for what they are but i understand the pricing for genuine sti bits, will probably get them and have them sprayed as theyre white. off to duncans in feb (after the undersealing) for the ESL, will be opting for the dyno for accurate figures and i dont really want to plant it with traffic and ice/wet weather so its the safer option, £75 extra i believe for dyno time which isnt too taxing.

there the ones, yeah or saloon in 406 bonnet wise, really hard to find some legit ones, i got the sti lights etc but the wrx spoilers are too weedy and small
-
Yeah i dont know why, i see alot of usdm spec with them and the sport bumpers with the flared arches, i didnt want to start bolting stuff to this so i just got the ambers, kept the clears as well but mainly iots because they have new seals for that waterprrof goodness ^^ Does anyone know of anybody breaking a 406 wagon? im after an alloy bonnet and the sti spoilers but theyre so hard to find and i dont want to get thai copies just yet

finally found the time to snap some of my new one, well really old, new to me, one. 1995 WRX import, rebuilt by scooby clinic shortly after being brought over in 2006, last used 2011 and was sat on a gravel drive ever since, was running 320 on an apexi FMIC td05 set up however a lot of fuel lines were leaking and the FMIC was shot to ****, the apexi also held the wrong map. so all came out, now its fully decat z4 td05 TMIC, replaced the knackered old import seats with newage, good for me as im short and you sit higher, cleaned it in and out as it was oily and mouldy, added some amber side lights also have the STi8 scoop being sprayed at the mo'. offside vent as well being sprayed, sti rear lights to go on, massive TMIC i believe is from an early sti and off the top of my head thats the lot, currently on 270ish bhp, will be fully undersealed in FEB, ESL daughter board in FEB from duncan graham up here in yorkshire

which i feel is an improvement, grill was 20 quid from a broken impreza, sprayed it and found some mesh to tigerseal on, carbon wrap bonnet was FREE!!! as was the Jun splitter when the clutch was done, part of being a woman on the impreza scene i imagine... still to come are some 19 inch gloss black multi spokes, her choice, spacers for mad stance and wide arches

now with a little more tlc looks like

Yes, sadly i can never find the time to upload the pics but im off for a week as of tomorrow so will be uploading them all, still things to be done as ive just had some Rota wheels and tyres for £100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! from a friend over a rotherham scoobies, will be fitting wide arches to it over xmas, I also took on a 95 WRX imported wagon in lovely condition bar the interior which i will also upload, that goes on the road in feb and is being prepped and underseald etc before hand.

Ok so good news on the topic of my old, now my mums impreza sport, pics to come and i think you'll be impressed, it looks fantastic!!
-
Quick bit of research, OBD2 READERS andDASHCMD wont work on my impreza as its a 95 import and JAPAN were still using OBD1 before lawfully switching in 96, back to the drawing board
-
How much did it set you back?
-
great thanks for that guys, i actully already have the Dashcmd from when i owned an ibiza FR, how would i connect it to the impreza however?
-
Thats a tidy **** bay
-
In the interest of maintaning the car i want to be able to read codes, could anyone link me to a reader and something to connect it to an iphone perhaps? tried and tested is preferable, Im also after locating some orange head light indicator clusters, not the bumper or wing ones, the ones that sit next to the head light itself if anyone could assist as im having no luck.
-
yeah the engines sweet, the garage used it as a daily to keep it running, only issue im having is the jerking in 2nd gear, but as i mentioned in the other thread it may be down to my lack of experience behind the wheel if a wrx, doesnt seem to have been abused, fmic was taken off and replaced with tmic though im not sure it was ever mapped in or out again, if that has any relevance, if not even got it past 4th gear yet :(

03 subaru impreza wrx sti hesitant in 2nd gear?.
R0llamite replied to Wez's topic in Subaru Impreza Club
Ive not yet mastered it, i either jerk about or launch like im at santa pod, my old sprt was a simpler and more docile being, WRX is pushing 270 on a wagon and its twitchy as is a monster D: but again might be something else **mines pushing 270 on a wagon and its twitchy as, if that helps -
i dont know unfortunately, car was rebuilt by scoobyclinic then sat for about 6 years then on the road briefly then sat again, 95 so coming upto some age if they are original

my wagon has been stood for about 2 months now, i only take it for a spin around the block every 2 weeks or so to stop the brakes seizing as i drive my other car primarily. there is a small leak which looks to be from the near side rocker, i have been told because the engines are flat that the oil pools when not in use and the seal may have given way slightly, car was spot on when i bought it and has literally done about 5 miles since, could anyone back that theory up please?

03 subaru impreza wrx sti hesitant in 2nd gear?.
R0llamite replied to Wez's topic in Subaru Impreza Club
Is this as soon as you change and boot it, or while your in 2nd gear say youve changed 20 secs ago and youve booted? I know the main issue for me was the jerkiness of 2nd gear coming from a corsa to an impreza that was just a case of learning to shift in a scooby again, though last time i had any hesitance it was the coil packs that need changing on my sport -
so ive found some v8 STi seats cheap on ebay and i was wondering if they would fit directly into a classic wagon, as we all know v1 through 7 are interchangable, what with all the shiny new moderness have subaru kept the seat mounts the same so i can drop them straight in?
