    Cambelt 1999 Subaru Outback

    Like I said on your previous post the cambelts should be replaced every 45k, due to the fact that there's little history with the car I'd get it replaced for piece of mind. Have you checked the belt to see if there are any cracks or unusually shiny spots on it? Also while you're there I'd also get the water pump changed too!

    Fantastic news that you have bought a Legacy! With regards to servicing I would strongly advise that you get the cambelt done (usually should be done every 45,000 miles) and a major service. Sounds like a great buy though, congratulations.
