Morning all! I think I've got a dodgy maf sensor, I plan on replacing it but do I need any in particular as the car has been mapped and tinkered with to 340bhp... Or do I just get a generic one suited to my car? Many thanks in advance

I've got some slightly larger profile tyres on order not massive difference 45's instead of 40's but doubt I could get a 50 in the gap lol I'll have a butchers around then, cheers mate

I have struts and fitted mate it's just got lowering springs on it that I don't want. I want to achieve more stealth than stance, the ride is pretty harsh so wanted to see if stock springs would make much difference, I'm not a moanin old goat just think feeling every stone is a bit silly lol (not actually that bad) I do need top mounts though can feel the wobble when hitting lumps and bumps in the road

So nowhere sells OE quality stuff then?

Morning all, will stock sti springs from a hawk eye fit stock classic sti struts? Failing that where can I find new OE parts for classics? There are some stock springs ending on ebay today just don't fancy the hassle of collecting to find they don't fit etc. Thanks in advance Josh

Morning all, looking at getting new disks and pads, currently got 4pot callipers on the front not so sure what's on the back not stripped down and looked but it's a 2000 turbo allegedly running 342bhp and it's rubbish at slowing down, so what would be the best to go for reasonably priced? Cheers :)

When turbo kicks in in 2nd it spins the wheels into 3rd lol

Allegedly it has a td05 20g turbo, runs at 20psi. I do have a front mount intercooler too which won't help with turbo lag. Really need to get in car boost control fitted i think

Right I've been on with it this morning changed drive belt and I've traced it using that photo and the hose goes to the fuel pressure regulator !Removed! idiot lol Any reasons as to why my car is misbehaving the way it is? Suffering a fair amount of turbo lag too it's not kicking in til nearly 4k and it was 3k when I got it, I've not done anything or changed anything or fiddled, literally just today swapped out the drive belt as it had frayed but that won't have any impact on performance... Or would it? This is my first petrol turbo so I am finding it hard working out any issues lol

Morning all, bear with me I'm still new!! Right I've mentioned before that I have a turbo 2000 and lately it's not being performing how it did when I got it, After having a good rummage around the engine bay I have noticed there is a hose missing on the nearside of the ht leads, there are 3 pipes that come from the engine pretty low down then the 3 hoses (or in my case 2) head off along side the washer bottle, 1 goes into the black box that looks like an oil filter (I doubt highly that that is what it actually is) then the other go off towards the bulk head. I am missing the 'middle' one. If anyone understands what the fluff I'm talking about could you please shed some guidance of what the pipe is for and where the hell it could have gone?! The car feels to pulsate when driving at a low constant speed, could it be said pipe that is missing that is causing this? I really need to find someone local that knows scooby's!! Morning all, I'm new to the Subaru scene so here's dunce question number one...... What's the best oil to put in a turbo 2000 running 342bhp? Might it need something in particular or will OE suffice? I've not had a properly modified car before and I don't intend on destroying the engine just yet :)

So far that's all I have :( only picked her up on Saturday spent most of Sunday still drunk and away at work til now so as of yet I've not even washed it! Good I like banter :)

Eyup boys and girls! Well it's been a long time coming but I finally have my first scooby! It's a 99 turbo 2000 with upgrades I can only pronounce, so please be gentle with me as I'm clueless! Any hints tips and advice is always welcome! But is there anything in particular I should be watching out for? So far I'm loving the car it's just a shame that they are quite bland on the interior front but the 342bhp sure as hell makes up for it! I'll beg everyone's forgiveness now for asking silly questions but like I said this is my first Subaru so please bear with me :) So anyone else from the Scarborough area? Any meets up and coming? Or anything at all that I should know? Please do let me know! Well that's my intro done now feel free to Take the pee :)
