I've seen a nice Bugeye that's won me over! If it all checks out when I go see it later I'll be buying it I think!

I'm looking at Blobs as well now! Tidy ones seem a lot easier to find than the classics, but I'm not sure if I prefer a classic or not?! I'm gonna look at a bug and blob and see what I think.

Thanks bud. I've seen the RB5 already, at least one of the arches has gone. The others are all good, but they're so far away from me. I'm having some real trouble finding a decent one down here, the good ones are about an 8 hour round trip!

I've got about £5,500 but could stretch a bit more for the right car. Mods aren't essencial, but being rust free is.

I'm on the lookout for a nice, tidy and rust free facelift classic. As close as possible to Essex, but don't mind travelling for the right car.

I've looked just about everywhere for a headliner but am having no luck!! It's to go in my 2000 classic saloon with sunroof, preferably in grey.

I'm only after the positive and negative so I can try and run it straight from a battery.

I'm just trying to see if my heater blower motor is buggered but I'm not sure which connection is which? Here's a pic, but bare in mind it's upside down:

What size are the door speakers in a 2000 classic Impreza? I've Googled it but am getting different sizes!

This might sound pretty crazy, but can the standard Impreza alarm (I think I'm right in saying it's a Sigma?) be made silent? Mine doesn't make any noise when it goes off and I'd quite like it to! Seems a bit pointless if it doesn't make a noise!! Or is it broken?

I've just got off the phone to the seller and I managed to haggle him down to £1600!! Looks like I'll be the proud owner of a Scoob by Sunday :-D

Literally every single one I've looked at has rusty arches!! I think this one could be a winner!! Would the amount of owners put people off? If I buy it I'll be its 9th owner!

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. I'm going to use that, and the interior fans and headliner (if I can ever find a rough price for one!) to try and do a bit of haggling.

I don't suppose anyone here lives near Kingston do they? The more I think about it, the more I like the Sccob I saw there. Only thing that's worrying me is the fact that I'm a noob and may have missed something when I looked at it, and it's a bit of a long way for me to keep going back to it. I was wondering (if anyone is local to it) if someone could take a look to make sure it's ok before I take the plunge? I'd hate to buy one with serious problems because it'd put me off Scoobs for life!!

At the bottom?! That's a new one, never heard of that before! I assumed they'd be at the top under the airbox or something! Is it a tough job to change them?

Cool, that's settled my mind a bit. There was a little niggle in the back of my mind that it was going to be really expensive to run a Scoob, then when I saw the tightly packed engine bay I was a little overwhelmed!! I've had to deal with a lot of rusted bolts and screws made of cheese on the Mazda, so that'll be nothing new. But at least I'll stop draining the battery when I forget to unplug the curlers!!
