  1. looks to me that you are missing the bottom tubular frame, which is what I have, but mine is 2010. I would use some heavy duty cable ties round the headrest supports/legs, as a short term fix. kr P
  2. Hi Mate, no top brackets holes, it fixes via bolts at the bottom edge & a tension thread onto the window ledge -window pillar, (re the window pillar as in mine I think this might mess up air bags. the only to bracket holes are the ones near the tailgate, I think for additional strapping of baby seat. send the ebay link for a looksea. 4. Hi All, just had a couple of prices back for service on a 2010 2.5 cvt. the car is on 38000 miles but will be 4 years old next month, so prices are thus- 48k 4year service £382.00 or smaller anal type £249. had a price of well over £500, from the garage that sold the car new. I'm thinking I should just service by mileage not by age, any thoughts? cheers Pete
  5. yep it the 2.5 cvt, 2010 on, happy with so far, & over the last 2500mile looks like its doing about 29- 31 mpg ish. http://www.fuel-economy.co.uk/calc.html cheers
  6. didnt know that the car reads out text messages & lets you respond & send back, just made me laugh, whilst driving home, phone buzzed & the car spoke. is this an option or a standard? all this new stuff to learn. good times :)
  7. no idea's? tried the spare remote, which must be programed different, as the seat stays as per the setting when the car is opened. good times.
  8. Hi All, anyone bought a rear boot liner for a 2010 OB, been looking on ebay but seems a lot of cheap looking stuff out there, I would buy a genuine part but being tight might risk the ebay ones, any thoughts? cheers p
  9. Hi all, got the outback, well pleased, just need some drive time & a proper fiddle .com the surround sound on the front DVD is good as, I thought it would just be ok, but was well taken back :) anyway's the seat always move right back when re-entering the car, I've set positions 1& 2 but it will move back when the door is unlocked & I then need to press setting 1 & it goes to where I left it, is there an override for this? thanks Pete
