  1. Thx, no not at all. If you look closely you will see I have spent alot of time not covering any original holes or grooves to not affect the fitment.
  2. Tbh I would have kept em but with the offsets it killed the handling with stretched tyres!
  3. Ive made a start but not quite finished yet: Almost finished sound deadening passenger door on both inner and outer skin of the door. This should really eliminate so much sound loss! I also got my speaker rings made. Just need to bond them together and then apply a waterproof membrane.
  4. Not really mate, I know the tyres are budgets but thats all that I needed them for. The car was for show not go so there was no point in spending on expensive tyres that were not going to get the use intended. I can sell without the tyres @ £600 and you can get your own. These are cheap enough as they are looking at prices elsewhere!
  5. Matt Bronze Rota Grid Drifts with tyres. 18" x 9.5" - 5x114 - ET38 Tyres are budget sunnys which have only covered 500 miles or so so good as new, still have the beading on! These will require a spacer to clear the front brembos which I will include in the sale! Looking for £675 for a quick sale. I am located in Enfield, North London. Jon
  6. Great will take a look, deffo good to hear from someone who has tested them.
  7. Im definitely going down the coilovers route but still doing my research as to which to go for.
  8. personally I wouldn't bother just disconnect them.
  9. Im about to fit my hertz 165s in the door of my blob just waiting on the delivery of my soundproofing. Apparently a 12mm spacer is required for 6.5" speakers. Will update with some photos once I get started.
  10. The only real fix im aware of is replacing the rear suspension or upgrading to coilovers. Although ive read bilstein or kw's are the best but be prepared to fork out a grand!
  11. What did you do in the end as im still not sure which coilovers to go for?
  12. Im in the same boat with my blob widetrack but I really dont want to spend £600+.
  13. I think you can get them to fit if you have a really slim width socket. I opted to buy a new set for both security and looks.
  14. thats reassuring then. Ok I will torque to 80lb thanks mate!
  15. I went for these in the end read nothing but good reviews: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Tuner-Wheel-Nuts-x-20-12x1-25-Fit-Subaru-Impreza-WRX-STI-Legacy-Forester-/230783137359?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35bbbf364f
  16. After a bit more digging around these both seem highly recomended. The first one though is it likely if overtightened the internal thread might get rounded off? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Tuner-Wheel-Nuts-x-20-12x1-25-Fit-Subaru-Impreza-WRX-STI-Legacy-Forester-/230783137359?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35bbbf364f http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231344553100?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  17. Just seen this after a quick google.. :o :o So I think I will give these a miss! Where from buddy and does it come with a slim socket as im finding with the original nuts I cant fit my socket in to tighten them?
  18. They were both underneath the steering column. Car is a 2005 widetrack blob.
  19. Just fitted my rota grid drifts and the guy I bought them from gave me these gold wheel nuts and they have done the job but imho the look a bit chavvy and the quality is poor and they stick out so far?? Which wheel nuts do you guys recommend and locking nuts too I need these ASAP!!
  20. Whilst fitting my head unit and running my mic lead under the d/s dash I came across these plugs and Im a bit concerned as to what they are? Also is this the diagnostic port? Not sure if its been messed with or the wires have come loose?
  21. Any pics and is it loud?
