I seem to have the same problem, tested the car and the fans seem to kick in when they should so there's no problem there. However when I'm sat at idle with my lights on my temp gauge slowly creeps up yet when I turn the lights off it drops back down to normal? Seems very strange to me. Hoping someone could shed some light on it!

Thanks. I shall check the fans as they do come on but not every time so there could be a problem there.

Hello, was wandering if anyone could shed some light. I have a 2004 impreza wrx and in the past few days it has started to over heat when sat still. I've owned the car 2 years and this is the first time it's done it. However, I can get the temp gauge to drop by turning off all exterior lights and any heating? Seems odd. I've looked under the bonnet and can't seem to see a coolant redo lit I think the prev owner may have removed it, could this now be causing problems? Sorry if this is a silly question

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a full set of ebc brake discs (turbo groove performance discs have been recommended for my car) and red stuff pads for my wrx. I'm on a budget but willing to pay if they are worth the money. I have read mixed reviews on both the pads and the discs. Just wanted to see if any of you have had them on your cars and if you would recommend as I don't have the money to keep switching about! Thanks :)

Ash do you have drilled or grooved mtec brakes? I'm possibly getting brembo pads

I've looked at mtech as they are cheaper than black diamond, are your mtech brakes pretty good? What brand pads do you use with them? I reckon I will go for mtech or black diamond with the braided hoses. If mtech are pretty good then I'll give them a go

Hey, I've only had my subaru a few months and I need to change the front and rear brake discs/ pads. I just want to know what brands you guys would recommend. I am on a budget but don't mind paying if they're worth it! The scoob is a 04 blob eye wrx 2l turbo. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks!
