  1. My WRX Wagon is LPG'd and stage one remap 280BHP Have been running LPG on my camper van for years so this was not anything new to me. My spare wheel sits in a cover behind the passenger seat, doesn't bother me. Mine was not done by Simon, it was done by Dougie Martin in Glasgow. 45 litre tank fills for £24 odd and gives me around 220 miles of spirited driving, when the car was remapped i just turned the LPG system off. The LPG kit then got remapped for £15. The LPG kit also needs a annual service and new filter £30 all in. Normal driving you just don't notice the difference, hit the button and it turns back to petrol on the move with no issues. I plan to keep the car, but regardless the LPG kit puts a smile on your face when filling up :-)
  2. http://www.stainlessexhausts.com Got a cat back from these guys today, can't vouch for the work as it was snowy and dark when I got the car. Will tell you this though, sounds awesome :D
  3. Welcome, looks good mate.
  4. Welcome.
  5. It's OK I got the car, the sound is she-hite so getting swapped out.
  6. I know these roads on my bike, but firing round greasy corners at speed is just the dogs dangly bitz.
  7. Picked up Rex today :) Had to come home the long way so 150 miles done on slidey slippery country roads, gotta say the 4WD is just awesome. The car is standard with 50K on the clock with the SL trim. and full Subaru service history + the cam belt was changed as part of the sale. Back to the smile on my face however.........
  8. Welcome, looks good.
  9. Guys, 2005 WRX wagon, trying to find out the standard audio kit on board. Got the below from a US manual I found. 80 watt 4 speaker single in dash CD 260 watt 6 speaker premium audio with subwoofer 6 CD in dash player Is the 80 Watt system standard or could you have got the 260 Watt upgrade when new? Obviously not picked this up yet :)
  10. Now I have figured this malarky out. Going for a LongLife Cat back exhaust, got the quote so go for it in a couple of weeks. Thanks.
  11. http://www.subaru4you.co.uk/how4.shtml First paragraph and I had to reboot my brain..... so going by this a "half kit" is the back box and the "mid pipe" (that contains a Cat) still cant read what this does for you over just the back box. More power? http://www.cobrasport.com/index.php/cobra-sport-exhaust-products/subaru/impreza/subaru-impreza-wrx-sti-17/subaru-impreza-turbo-cat-back-system-non-resonated-1334.html Ok think I'm getting there, if I for instance get the above cat back system it sits behind the cat and will be good for MOT giving the better sound than the standard I'm looking for.
