Nice one... Best make sure it's tight, but guess it's the same deal as a tyre valve, closed unless the centre pin is pushed open. Blue cap just to keep it clean. Cheers

Can anyone tell me what this little blue valve is and what it does? Accidentally moved it and not sure if it should be tight or loose?? Photo off Internet, but can see the valve in the middle. My engine nowhere near as sorted. Cheers

Looks like there's loads locally that do steam / jet wash.... But not so keen on that. Just see a whole load of ball ache coming the second water or steam gets in there! Think it's gonna have to be toothbrush and degreaser... And bust up knuckles! Should be worth it though.

Now that seems like the laziest way to get the job done! Where's this guy based?? I'm in Cardiff.

Recently purchased an 04 WRX, in need of a serious clean on the engine bay....and have heard horror stories about problems after steam cleaning.... Any suggestions???
