    Thanks - I didnt think of low A/C gas. I'll get it checked. Will feedback when I know more.

    Pretty certain it's the internal fan - sounds like its coming from under the glove compartment and only makes a noise when heater or A/C activated.

    Hi. I have a 2004 Legacy (recent purchase) _ I'm loving the car but I do have one slight issue in that the heater / A/C fan is incredibly noisy. Is this a know issue with these cars? Any help /advice much appreciated.
