  1. Hi, selling my 2004 outback, had it 2.5 yrs now and it's been super reliable, I've always had it regularly serviced, the car has covered 156000 miles and runs and drives superb, auto box with manual option all works as it should, full stainless exhaust, in recent months it's had a full brake overhaul including new discs and pads all round, a new radiator and a rear wheel bearing. Lots of history with the car too. MOT'd until January next year. Asking around £1450, although happy to chat about that. the body work is fine although at some point in it's life someone has repainted the front bumper and not made a great job of it (you have to look hard though). Air con blows lovely and cold (if we ever get a summer to test it), I also have a OE dog guard and boot liner. Any questions fell free to ask, Jeff 07745383362
  2. The Legacy dog guard arrived and fits my outback perfectly, thanks for all the thoughts and advice.
  3. Great stuff, had a quick look and they do seem to have some good and cheap stock, they don't have my wheel type in stock at the moment but I'll certainly keep an eye on the site.
  4. When Looking on eBay for a dog guard for my Outback there seemed to be a few for Foresters
  5. Hi looking for a set of black leather seats suitable for my 04' Outback, it currently has the standard fabric ones which I'm not to fond of. Ideally all manual as mine have no power to them.
  6. Hi, the wheels on my 2004 Outback need to be refurbed but I'm thinking it may be better to buy a good set of second hand ones, I like to keep things original and ones I have require diamond cutting which is a bit pricey, as usual I would be glad to hear your views, thoughts and opinions. Jeff.
  7. Done a run to Widness at the weekend, combination of high speeds and 50mph average speed camera stuff, the computer reads 38.2 mpg, which I'm delighted with (are the computers accurate as it seems unlikely).
  8. David, thanks very much, the pictures are very helpful, it looks exactly like the one being sold for the Legacy so I'll take a punt on it I think. Thanks again, Regards, Jeff.
  9. Starting to get really confused now, the above question was prompted by a legacy dog guard being available on the bay, the seller was unsure if it would fit an Outback but thought it would, my research has so far has been inconclusive, the picture on Petch's website looks nothing like the item being sold, equally I can't actually see how any "top" fixings attach as there's nothing there (unless it's hidden behind the headlining??) any thoughts, opinions or otherwise would be gratefully received. Jeff.
  10. Hi, does anyone know if a same year (2004) dog guard from a Legacy will fit an Outback? Thanks in anticipation. Jeff.
  11. Sent my clock / computer away for repair to the place Mart suggested (see ebay link above) super fast turnaround and it now works a treat. Seems a top bloke too.
  12. Looking for a genuine dog guard for my 2004 Outback. Jeff. 07745383362
  13. A lot, 2 x CV Joints, Timing Belt + Tensioners, brake pads all round as well as work to free off seized callipers, 2 x rear tyres , spark plugs and full service which included quite a few other bits and bobs. The did have my bottom jaw on the floor but it's been a fair bit of graft fro the garage and they have fitted few shiny bits. Jeff.
  14. picked the car up today ...£1150 for the service plus lots of extras, sounds a lot but it had pretty much everything done and runes like a dream now, hopefully the next service will be simply fluids and filters. Jeff.
