All in pretty good condition to be fair, had them all checked out no so long ago. Think I'll try what you say, see if there's any grit in there, if not think I might just change the pads anyway. It'd be ok if it was just a little squeak but it's not, just one long really loud noise. it's ridiculous! Honestly it's so embarrassing. Thanks for your help.

I've got a 06 WRX and just recently the breaks are horrendously squeaking but only at low speed breaking. High speed- fine. Anyone else experience this? And how to solve? Spoke to a scoobie guy at a garage and he told me its just part and parcel of how a scoobie is. Really? It's damn annoying!! Many thanks in advance :)

I see ur post about prom escort, I would love to do it and meet a few other scooby peeps but unfortunately I can't get a sitter for that night and my husbands shifts get in the way!
