not sure its the same thing....no jamming on this one. it will drive all day in 3rd 4th 1st 2nd no problems just the change up to 3rd can be quite rough but not always.... actually the thump seems to come from the back?

subaru legacy 2.5 2006 car........ discoverd a dtc today c0114 ,,,but cant find anything on it..may or may not be related

as title says great thump going into 3rd gear auto transmission always hard to describe symptoms but car going up from 2nd to 3rd gear either in d or sport or using manual trip is a massive thump sometimes high revs and when i back off the throttle a little it slams into gear at oil level is fine... i left battery disconnected overnight and it seem to go away for a while....short while anyone any insight or similiar experience?
