    I am US military stationed here in the UK and the importation laws in the states essentially say that a vehicle must be 25 years old to be able to legally be imported without needing to meet our (ridiculous) vehicle safety and emissions laws. I will be leaving the UK in 2018, so 1993 seems to be the sweet spot.
