Hey folks, Just got back from trip to Scotland and picked up loads of salt. Don't have hosepipe at flat so need to take it somewhere to wash it off. Anyone know of a good place to go in south east London? Cheers D Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Hey folks, I recently bought an '07 Impreza Wrx sedan which I'm extremely happy with. I race triathlon and would like the family to be able to come along and support my sorry **** from time to time [emoji4] Problem is boot is too small for bike and wondered if roof racks( shock, horror) are an option. Ideally, I'd only have them on during the season and take off in winter as its not the greatest look on an impreza! Any thoughts? Thanks D Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk

What's the benefit of a centre and rear exhaust system, as opposed to one or the other? Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk -

Folks, Looking in medium term to add a bit more grunt to my 07 Wed impreza. I don't want to sacrifice reliability too much, so what would be a sensible first step? Filters? Exhaust? Remap? Any advice welcome Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk

Tasteful sound system upgrade

Stants, I'm going to take my car to an audio specialist locally and see what they quote me and can do. Still open to options but will see what my options are. Are the impreza dimensions notoriously difficult for audio installations? Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk -

Was looking at Halfords as just convenient. Will research local audio specialists tonight, definitely sage advice. Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk -

Stants, I reckon about 200 is within my budget. I reckon co ax is the way to go. Will check where tweeters are though...I won't be ripping anything out, id mess it up. Anyone know if halfords installers any good, they've got some good variety of speakers, headsets? Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk -
Hi folks, I'm looking at upgrading the factory fitted sound system in my 07 wrx impreza. I'm looking for something relatively entry level, nothing fancy just reliable. Don't need a sub or anything like that. Being a novice as far as electrics is concerned, I thought I'd put my thoughts to the floor. Would I need to upgrade the speakers or would a headunit upgrade suffice? I've been eyeing out halfords for options and installation, anyone used them? Any advice welcome! Thanks aucky. Ill check what coolant is in there now, I'm assuming its silicate free as don't have any record of coolant change over life of car. Might just keep a batch in boot if necessary. Can't imagine I'll have a problem with this country's climate though! Thanks for tips folks Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk

Sounds simple folks. Wish I'd known this earlier! Anyway, will see how it goes with charger, hopefully that sorts it out. If not, anyone want to buy a ticket to Silverstone classics this Sunday!?

Hi folks, I recently purchased my first Scooby Impreza. Its an '07 wrx with about 50k on the clock, looks pretty well looked after. I've loving the drive and am happy with the car but had a hiccup yesterday. Got in the car to go for a spin and battery is flat

Cheers stants, you reckon its worth carrying some with me or just use if necessary at service station?

Looking for good Scooby specialist

Thanks Pete. I'm going to go with Dan at SSS. He's easy to get to from me in Lewisham round the m25. Pretty fully booked, earliest slot I can get is 3rd week in august...must be a good thing -

Cheers Gambit, they are the ones I found on a Google search. Reviews seem good so I think I'll go with them. Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk -
Hi, Having checked the manual on my '07 Impreza WRX, I noticed the car doesn't take water as a coolant, but a special liquid supplied by Subaru. I'm embarking on a 1000 mile return trip to Scotland and back and was wondering if I should get hold of this stuff and keep it in the boot. Necessary? Thanks. D

Hi, I'm based in London, recently purchased an '07 Impreza Wrx with 50k on the clock. I'm taking it on a trip to the north of Scotland in about a month and a half and have picked a couple of little niggles over the first month or so of ownership. I don't believe its anything serious, just a tinny sound on acceleration at low speed and what feels like a wheel alignment issue. For peace of mind, could someone recommend a specialist they've used recently? I found Surrey Subaru Specialists...anyone had expedience with them? Thanks D
