New member looking for some advice. Four trouble free fun years with my 2007 wrx. Engine warning light has led to the above codes being thrown up. p2444 secondary air pump on, malfunction P1410 secondary air combi valve seized open My local mechanic has informed me the air pump is working and the valve is actually stuck closed. The engine still runs like a dream and apart from the warning light you'd think the car was fine. He's doing some checks but believes there are two valves (only available direct from suberu at £218 each) and a considerable amount of labour to get to them, 5hrs. Do you really need the valves in the UK.? Can I leave it and get the ecu remapped to show the valves as blanked off, as I know you can get kits for this? Then remapping to remove the warning light. Any thoughts! Kev
