  1. Scoobydoo dan. Il certainly post pics of the project. Its just aswell theres no sound in photos as im sure therel be a few choice words! Cheers savage bulldogs. Iv never done anything with bottom end side of an engine but iv done heads etc. I know its going to be a costly do. Im hoping i can get my crank machined as it only knocks when its warm. I bought it from a friend who stopped driving it as soon as he heard it and hes quite penile to say the least. Is iy something i can do without specialist tools or timing equipment? Cheers

  3. Thanks all for the warm welcome :-) My main problem is i think my bottom end is knocking. Not entirely sure though. I am fairly handy with a spanner so to speak but wasn't sure on whether or not to tackle the crank change myself? Any input would be much appreciated
  4. Hi all. Just bought my 3rd scooby a wrx import and its need of some fairly major tlc. So i thought what better place to get advice than here. As i say iv had 2 before a classic and a bug eye but neither of rhem were as poorly as this one :-(
