  1. I can't seem to find one online and I don't have a dealer near me to pick one up so was just going to order a crush washer but again I'm unsure of the size
  2. Does anybody know the size of the crush washer for the gearbox drain plug? I'm gonna be doing new driveshaft seals in a couple days and need to have everything to hand to do the job but am struggling to find the info on the drain plug
  3. OK, got my new exedy clutch kit ready to fit only problem is it didn't come with an alignment tool, just wanted to ask if anybody knows what size or type alignment tool will I need to buy to fit the clutch? Will one of the basic universal ones fit OK? It's for a 2004 wrx wagon
  4. Still no mention of pads that don't squeel red stuff were mentioned but what other pads are good but don't make a noise as I can't be doing with squeaky brakes
  5. When you put them side by side like that it's easy to see the extra breaking your going to get from brembos might have to keep a look out for a second hand set but like you say that's going to be too end of my budget but I guess you can't put a price on safety
  6. Thanks for that info savage, still so undecided with what to do, I mean how do the standard wrx setup handle over 100 extra Bhp with some good pads and slotted discs or is brembo the way to go??
  7. What about pads? What's considered best in forms of performance but don't squeel?
  8. Would like to really keep it under 1k if I can as budget is getting tight now
  9. Ok so I'm well on the way to collecting parts for my blobeye wagon build. I'm heading for 350bhp at the moment until I can get a forged block sorted. The only part I can't decide on is what brakes to run. I want somthing that's going to stop the car really well with the added power but I don't want any squeeling. Soooo many different opinions on pads, discs and calipers. What do you guys recommend as its the only part of the build I can't make my mind up on.
  10. I have got myself an adjustable 50/50 diverter/bov, first time using one of these with the adjustable spring rate, does anybody know how to correctly setup the spring rate at all?
  11. The cam belt is first on the list and was going to do all oils and filters but still got to find out what's best oils to use yet, thinking 5w40? But not sure on gearbox and diff. Anything else to look out for on the boxer engine?
  12. I have recently purchased my first scooby, it's a 2004 blobeye wrx wagon. It's got 112k on her and has never been modified apart from a prodrive rear box? Question is what things should I check over for a health check before I start adding more Bhp, want to make sure the engine is healthy before I do anything to her but not sure what common faults the subaru's have.
  13. Thanks aucky, was trying to find maybe a used HKS, or Greddy or the like but I will take a look
  14. Looking for a good quality used exhaust system for my 04 blobeye wagon
